28. and 29. September 2011

We were a little bit tired the first day - it was difficult for us to get used to the difference of time. Kenneth picked us up at 9.30 am and showed us the way to a little town near the house. After that we drived to Spruce Meadows - it was the first drive in our own truck! Spruce Meadows was huge! so of course we get lost. Luckily we  have plenty of time, so we was in time for the interview. It took maximum 10 minutes before they said that we could start at Monday - so that was really nice!
After our trip to Spruce Meadows we went to Strathmore to go shopping food - Maja saw some "aberøve", but Maja, I'm sure that you don't know it, but it's not "aberøve" it's ferskner.. ;)
29. September we were going to Calgary to get a S.I number (a number that we have to had before we can work). We took the train.. Maja was the best to find the right way, so it was not a problem for us to find the right place.. So now everything is ready to Sunday when we are moving to Spruce Meadows.

The journey - 27. September 2011

Early Tuesday morning I took a train from Vejen st to Copenhagen airport - Maja was flying from Aalborg. We found each other in terminal 2, and after a short break we checked in and found the right gate. Before we get on the airplane we called some family and lovely friends - we'r gonna miss you all !! Back to the flight.. It was nice.. the seats were terrible.. but whatever, it's only took about 2 hours before we were in Heathrow. Luckily our luggage was flying directly to Calgary, so we just have to relax and eat some chocolate before we found the right gate (it was in the same terminal). The flight to Calgary was loong - about 9 hours. But we could use the time to see some great movies.. Even Hævnen - that was awesome ! ;) We also get some delicious food on the plane (chicken, vegetables, potatos and a less good pear dessert). I just sleep about 1 hour, but still it was a nice flight! :) Maja was not as lucky as me - she was setting behind a very strange and mad man.. But anyway, when we get to Calgary we should talk to difference persons to get our working permit - they were all very nice and kind, so it was not a problem. We found Kenneth (a member of my family) quickly and he drove us home - luckily he can speak danish ;)
